Chicken Nachos

Okay reader, today this post is going be a little bit shorter than the usual. Today after I came home I made myself a little snack. I just reheated the chicken I made for the quesadilla. For how to make it the chicken look back at my post on the quesadilla. All you need is some tortilla chips, either shredded cheese or nacho cheese, your chicken, and anything else u want on it. People put jalapeƱos, red peppers, and all kinds of crazy stuff. I personally am a meat and cheese kind of guy. All you do is get a plate, put your chips on it, a nice layer of cheese, and the chicken or whatever else on that you want.  Nachos are a really great quick snack for when you don’t have much time. Cooking is a great hobby; some would even say a sport, to get into. Every sport has their role models. Baseball has Babe Ruth and Hank Aaron. Cooking has Julia Child and Gordon Ramsay. Even if he can be a pain.

I just had to put this one on here.

  1. I’m all for the idea of fast and easy food. Mostly because im lazy, and eat whatever is just laying around the house; I don’t eat couch pizza, however. I never think to have nachos though, and nachos are a very good idea. We always have chips and some kind of cheese at my house along with some kind of leftover meat in the refrigerator that might go along well with the chips and cheese. Your nachos just look so appetizing that I might have to make my own the next time I’m hungry. Thank you for the great idea.

  3. Clever idea to make another dish from one you previously made. It saves money and you don’t waste food. My family always has a ton of leftovers in the fridge, but we hardly ever eat them again so we either throw it away or feed it to our dog. I also tried making your orange chicken with my mom. It looked great and was not a complete failure, but we defiantly added too much orange. I did not realize an orange zest could be so powerful.

  4. I am always super lazy when it comes to making food. I also am super impatient and if I want food I do not want to wait 20 to 30 minutes to cook so nachos are perfect for that! I make them a lot. I actually just recently did something really similar to you chicken idea. The night before I had pulled pork. The barbecue was not on it yet. So I took out the nacho chips, sprinkled some mexican shredded cheese, the pulled pork, and a dab of barbecue sauce on top. I heated it up in the microwave, and it made for a delicious, quick dinner.
