Hello reader! This is possibly the most amazing of all of the recipes I have done on this blog. It is amazingly easy and delicious. If you don’t know where chicken parmesan is from get ready, because we are taking a trip through Italy! No I’m not talking about the made up image of Italy that we have come to know from watching “Jersey Shore.” Little known fact, only like three of the cast are from New Jersey, and only two are actually Italian. Guido? I don’t think so. Any ways, the real Italy is actually a beautiful culturally rich place. Aside from beautiful beaches, high sense of fashion, and amazing food, Italy was the birth place of two of the world’s most historically advanced civilization. Both of which gave us the guidelines for our government and our justice system. Italy is also iconic in the art world as well. This dish is a great one to make for your family or to impress a special someone. First you need about four large boneless skinless chicken breast. Preheat the oven to 375. Then you either pound them down until they are about half an inch thick, or cut them in half. I find it is easier to cut them. Then soak the chicken in an egg, salt, and pepper mixture. Then toss the soaked chicken into a bag of Italian bread crumbs for breading. Fry in a skillet with oil with medium high heat. Fry till golden brown. In a baking dish place a thin layer of marinara sauce. This will keep the chicken from drying out in the oven. Place the chicken into the dish. Then put a little bit of marinara sauce on the chicken. Top the whole thing off with mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese. Bake in the oven until cheese is melted. Serve with a side of spaghetti and you have yourself a great meal. I have made this dish about four times in the last two weeks. I hope you all love it. Ciao!
